Conor McGregor is only 27 years old, and is very good at what he does in UFC. He's got value with the sport for years to come. Even if he leaves and does a bit of WWE, he could make a lot of money, and then be back in MMA by his early thirties. He'd then arguably be worth even more money to UFC, off the back of his WWE fame.

He'd definitely leave WWE and go back to UFC after a couple of years. He knows how much more money he could make, and he knows his greater sporting legacy is connected to the MMA brand. A brief WWE run, would be some fun and a lot of money, but UFC is where Conor McGregor is going to be remembered and make the most money.

The reality? He never even leaves the MMA leader, and the current WWE speculation is just a bargaining chip in his power play with Dana White. But as detailed, if he did go to WWE, there's certainly some exciting possibilities to consider.
