10 Things That Would Happen If WWE Buys TNA

1. The TNA Library Will Reach The WWE Network

TNA have produced some truly cringeworthy television over their lifespan. The Vince Russo and Hulk Hogan eras made for particularly painful watching, and the company has played host to some of the duo’s absolute worst ideas. Bound for Glory 2007’s “Reverse Battle Royal,” for example, rivals anything from WCW’s darkest days in terms of all-round ridiculousness, but it wasn’t always this way.

Throughout their mid-2000s peak, TNA were regularly producing the goods between the ropes. TNA history is littered with must-see matches, and acquiring these rights should see a huge influx of video content to the WWE Network. Fans would finally be able to rewatch the legendary X Division clash between Styles, Joe, and Christopher Daniels at Unbreakable ‘05 without having to shell-out on a DVD, or revisit the violent, bloody showdown between James Storm and Chris Harris at Sacrifice ‘07 at the click of a button.

The WWE Network is already stuffed to the gills with quality content. Adding TNA’s shows to the library would be an immense undertaking, but there are some real gems in their catalogue, and uploading them would be well worth the effort.
