6. Judas Mesias, the OTHER Long-Lost Brother
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzEN-P3WJJk We've covered Joseph Parks, but that angle was actually the second time TNA decided to give Abyss a brother. Judas Mesias was the grand finale of James Mitchell's dramatic reveal marathon, a new monster brought in to destroy Abyss for betraying their father. At this point they were basically doing a community theater version of the Undertaker/Kane/Paul Bearer only with a second, more disappointing Kane. Judas was actually journeyman grappler Ricky Banderas, most famous at the time for being the top heel of MTV's short-lived Wrestling Society X. Although Judas would go on to have a stellar career in Mexico's AAA promotion, he fizzled hard in TNA. He lasted only a year, though he'd return in 2013 to battle . . . Joseph Park. Abyss' family tree should be cut down and the earth salted.
