They're also consummate long-term company men who have seen their loyalty rewarded with really disappointing world title runs. Kane famously won the WWE title from Stone Cold Steve Austin when he started bleeding lamely during a first blood match, and Austin regained the title 23 hours later. Abyss fared even worse when he defeated Sting by disqualification at Genesis 2006. Yes, TNA's resident psychotic monster won their world title when Sting shoved a referee. Yes, TNA's world title can change on a disqualification. Yes, it was dumb, and no, Abyss has never been champion again. Seriously, TNA, if you'd like your fans to take your monster heel seriously, maybe don't book him like he's "One More Match"-era Christian.
