10 Things TNA Wants You To Forget
7. Jenna Morasca Vs. Sharmell
Over the years, TNA has made several booking decisions that affected the in-ring product. It was at Victory Road 2009 that they booked a match so poorly conceived that it put the reverse battle royal from earlier in our countdown on a pedestal.
The match? Sharmell vs. Jenna Morasca in a battle between Main Event Mafia valets.
The contest, featuring two untrained wrestlers, would end up being the worst in company history. Considering the sheer number of awful gimmick matches the company has presented, not to mention that time Jeff Hardy hit the ring drugged out of his mind for a pay-per-view main event (more on that in a bit), that's saying something.
Sharmell, for as entertaining as she proved to be during her time seconding for husband Booker T in WWE, could not work her magic to help ensure an even halfway decent match. Morasca, a former reality television personality, had no business in the ring whatsoever.
In the end, the blame must be put on the company for trotting out two woefully underprepared performers for a match that never should have happened in the first place.
