10 Things TNA Wrestling Did Right

10. Seeing Former WWE Stars In A New Environment

There's not much of a developmental system for TNA Wrestling. The way they acquired talent was by signing independent wrestlers that the national wrestling audience had never heard of and also bringing in former WWE names. They have hired so many former WWE talents that people made jokes any time somebody got released that they were TNA bound within 90 days, which is the amount of time on the no compete clause. A lot of times those WWE people that get fired or leave for whatever reason are still very talented performers. That's why when guys like Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, Bobby Lashley Rob Van Dam, Ken Kennedy (Anderson), Mick Foley, Booker T, Kevin Nash and girls like Gail Kim, Mickie James, Tara (Victoria) and others get there it's a good thing. They're not necessarily past their prime. They just need another place to work and TNA afforded them that opportunity. Where TNA ran into problems is they were too reliant on the ex-WWE people. A lot of their office staff was made up of WWE people too. They should have tried harder to be different instead of just being WWE-lite.
