10 Things To Take Away From WWE NXT Takeover: Rival

1. Owens Captures The NXT Championship With Not A KO, But A TKO

It was clear that the first Pop-Up Powerbomb really affected Zayn to the point where he was probably concussed and had no idea where he was or what he was doing. He weakly kicked out purely on instinct. The doctors would check on Zayn, but Owens could care less. He shoved the doctors out of the way and delivered a second and a third Pop-Up Powerbomb. Zayn kicked out again, even more weakly than the last time; which made the doctors even more concerned. Even though the doctors were more concerned, Owens couldn't give a sh*t less. He shoved them out of the way for THREE more Pop-Up Powerbombs to total SIX of them. It was such a display of brutality. After the sixth powerbomb, the referee finally stepped in and rang the bell. He deemed that Zayn was unable to continue and awarded the belt to Owens! KO won by TKO, something we haven't seen in a title match in a long time. In a night where many matches ended with a handshake, the main event was completely different. Owens showed no remorse at all to his former friend. It will be very interesting to see where this feud goes from here. As always, thank you for reading my articles!
