With the likes of Neville, Finn Balor, Becky Lynch and Paige all operating on the roster, plus a healthy British representation in the CWC you could be forgiven for thinking that the company has an penchant for everything from the UK.

So has Triple H noticed an upturn in British quality? Is the invasion of talent a conscious thing?

Nope.

"I get asked that question a lot, like, "Oh, it seems like you're very interested in British performers all of a sudden. I don't know - I don't look at it that way... We try to be aware of the performers that are out there at every place around the globe. That's our gig, on my side of the business, right?"

And fundamentally, where you're from clearly isn't as important as what you can do.

"I don't care if I get them from England, Japan, China, India, Brazil. It doesn't matter. And to me, it also doesn't matter what they come from, whether that's rugby, NFL... Talent are talent, athletes are athletes. And we're going to bring them here and train them how to be WWE superstars in the best way possible."

Triple H does acknowledge that there's been something of a resurgence in interest in Britain though - it's their second biggest market - and indeed that "they kind of follow each other". And the good news for wannabe British stars is that he says he looks "forward to finding talent there and making them global superstars all the time."
