6. Gall Knew In Advance That Dana White Would Be Scouting His First Fight
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHbfbZfW24k Mickey Gall was not unaware that his first fight was going to have a very high-profile spectator in attendance. Fighting at Dead Serious MMA in November 2015, about a month before the show, the promotion's owner, Frankie Perez, tipped him that White would be there. And at that moment, Gall knew he had an opportunity. He made the most of it. After winning his professional MMA debut - something every fighter no doubt dreams of - he proceeded to call out CM Punk. He did it in a respectful fashion, was in the right place at the right time, and got his wish: a contract with the UFC, and the promise that with a win in his UFC debut, he would get to fight Punk.
