Global Force Wrestling: 10 Facts And Questions About Jeff Jarrett's New Promotion

5. Where And When?

Again the rumor mill and the dirt sheets have been speculating about where GFW will air once it€™s ready for its television debut. The other lingering question is that of when. Not only what time and day of the week will GFW be on, but before that, when will the show make its debut. By all accounts, it would seem that the Global Force TV debut is quite a ways off. There are many more things that need to happen before GFW can even think about landing a television deal or filming a show. Some wrestling pundits have even theorized that a documentary-like project could debut before the official wrestling program, acting as a buildup to the inevitable sports entertainment show. While the general question of when GFW will debut may still be up in the air, the query of where it will premiere may already have an answer. Although nothing has been set in stone or announced officially, there are talks that a deal is being negotiated by Jarrett and Broome to broadcast GFW programming on CMT -- the premiere country music cable station. Interestingly, CMT is a subsidiary of Viacom, who is the proprietor of Spike TV -- the channel which airs TNA€™s programming. It will be interesting to see what comes of GFW€™s television efforts. Although, there are still far too many factors to answer any questions definitively, the promotion€™s partnership with David Broome is an exceptional step in the right direction.
