10 Things We Learned From Adam Cole On Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions Podcast

2. His Inbuilt Fear Of Being Late

The latest 'Oral Sessions' kicked off with Renee joking that wrestlers are always on time due to some inbuilt fear about being late. That led to a cool story from Cole about his AEW debut and the psychologically f*cked way pro wrestlers think.

At least they're punctual.

Adam said he'd often text people in NXT to say, "Hey, I know call time at the building is 1pm, but I'll be there at 1:02". They'd laugh and say the two minute concern was ridiculous, but Cole hates being late for anything. That same two-minute fear reared its ugly head as he prepped for his AEW bow.

Cole was in his private trailer hiding away as he watched the main event end. Suddenly, he realised that he didn't know if anybody was coming to get him - he hadn't walked about the building that day, so he didn't know where he was going or where the entrance was.

What if he missed his cue?! That old fear kicked in again.
