10 Things We Learned From Attending AEW All In 2023

8. And Will Ospreay Is Too

Chris Jericho
AEW

Expectations were set high for Will Ospreay Vs Chris Jericho despite the confusing character alignments of the former and the notable occasional misfires of the latter, but the IWGP United Kingdom/United States Champion used wrestling's biggest ever stage and his vocal home support to yet again shine in the spotlight.

Could more of this be on the horizon?

Ospreay is contracted to New Japan for the near future at least, but the AEW/NJPW working relationship should keep them tethered on events like this for the time being. After that, could the 'Aerial Assassin' make the North American number two his new home?

Wrestling is a less binary marketplace to try and conquer than many would have you think, but Ospreay's a unique case in that he really has done just about everything there is to do outside of working for one of the US majors. He may not feel the need to "prove" himself, but the fan demand is very clearly there. As has been the case with his career up to this point, not even the sky's the limit.
