10 Things We Learned From Attending AEW All In 2023

7. The Death Of Le Sex Gods

Chris Jericho
AEW

On a show that highlighted AEW's creative flair of old, one of the company's longest-tenured relationships briefly took centre-stage following Chris Jericho's ego-bruising loss to Will Ospreay.

'The Ocho' came up short against the beloved home country favourite, but even if 81,000+ inside Wembley Stadium were on the side of the 'Aerial Assassin', Sammy Guevara was loyal to his Inner Circle/Jericho Appreciation Society general throughout.

Jericho himself wasn't as cordial. Shooing away 'The Spanish God's help after the bell, a disillusioned Jericho left Guevara wondering exactly what he'd done wrong, which served as a nice contrast to the excellent facials from the apprentice when the master was failing to get the job done during the match.

A split is coming, and could Don Callis' muted presence at ringside for Ospreay have actually obscured the next move for the 'Invisible Hand' in this war against his fellow Winnipeggers? Guevara was seeking guidance and mutual respect, and the sly Callis can provide it the further Jericho slinks away.
