AEW finds itself in a rather unusual position for a wrestling promotion, in that its 4 biggest stars are also its Executive Vice-Presidents. This puts them in a bit of a weird position as they have to simultaneously book an exciting wrestling product as EVPs while, at the same time, trying protect their own careers are big stars. These are not mutually exclusive.

While 3 out of the 4 of them won, there’s no doubt whatsoever that all of their opponents on the night came out looking just as important to the company as they did.

The Lucha Brothers look every inch the tag team the Young Bucks do, Jericho got a huge win over Omega in the shock of the night and, as for Dustin Rhodes, well, he was last seen on TV getting dumped out of Greatest Royal Rumble. All 4 of them left that show the talk of the entire crowd.
