10 Things We Learned From Attending WWE Raw After WrestleMania Live

8. Spoiling The Main Event

WWE, those absolute dopes, spoiled their own Raw main event midway through the show.

The opening segment established that WWE Champion Kofi Kingston would face his Universal counterpart, Seth Rollins, in a "winner takes all" match. This was received as well as you'd expect. The anticipation kept growing throughout the night, and every flash of the match graphic drew a monster pop, but a misplaced SmackDown advertisement soon put to that.

While WWE only showed the ad once, they made a critical error in advertising The New Day's WWE Title-winning celebration for SmackDown the following evening. At that point, fans knew the main event would need to end in a screwy finish, thus sapping its intrigue.

An inconclusive outcome was always likely, but did WWE really need to give the whole thing away like this?
