3. Her First Wrestling Wage Was $30

We're loath to say that E&C didn't spend enough time asking Becky around her formative years or early months in the wrestling biz. That's well-covered ground in her interviews, so maybe they fancied bringing things up to date. There was still time for one tale about her earliest memories however.

After breaking onto the Irish indy scene and wrestling a few dates, Becky wanted to expand her horizons. A local lad told her about the thriving Canadian circuit, and that peaked her attention. So, off Lynch went to find out for herself, only to learn it was a total lie. Still, at least she earned her first actual pay packet for working a match.

Both Edge and Christian got a kick out of that, but they were pleased to learn Natalya then saved Becky's skin by helping her onto a Japanese tour that raked in approx $1,000 (US). That meant Lynch could finally pay her rent and survive on something more than little tubs of 80-calorie ice cream.
