3. They Ignored ‘Mania’s Botched Finish

Neither Austin nor Becky mentioned the botched finish to her Triple Threat opposite Charlotte and Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35. When the interview reached that stage in the timeline, they just acted like that was always supposed to be the headliner’s finish.

This was a weird no-sell.

As most know, the referee dropped a clanger by f*cking up the main event's conclusion on the night. He was punished by WWE for doing so too, and that story did the rounds on social media for a few weeks after the event. So, it's a little strange that Austin and Lynch ignored this. Was that a Vince McMahon call?

That's possible. Perhaps Vince felt no good could come of heaping more misery on the poor ref for making an arse of the card's most important moment. Or, maybe he just didn't want to acknowledge that 'Mania's closing moments were panicked and messy.

They could've referred to this in passing though. Or made a joke of it.
