10 Things We Learned From Bruce Prichard's Podcast On Stephanie McMahon & Triple H

2. Stephanie Was Chyna's Biggest Proponent

Chyna was and always has been a sympathetic figure. She was the one scorned by Triple H and she was pushed aside by WWE when things threatened to become troublesome. Right? Not so fast. Prichard had another angle on things.

He said Stephanie was always high on Chyna's work, liked her personally and pushed other creative team members to come up with ideas befitting her status as a woman who could mix it with the dudes. Bruce went very heavy on this; he repeated that Steph would hear out ideas for other talent and then say, '...but what have you got for Chyna?'.

The interesting thing here is that this apparently continued right up until Chyna left the promotion in 2001.

If there was any bad blood, Bruce reckons it was one-way from Chyna towards McMahon. This put Vince in a difficult predicament, especially when Chyna asked for "four times" her salary and followed that up by saying she didn't know how she could work with Triple H and Steph.
