Nobody who witnessed it will ever forget the first time Bubba Ray Dudley put hands on Mae Young. However, Ray told Austin that he bumped the pensioner down as gently as he could, because he was afraid to hurt her. That didn't do it for Mae, so she cornered the WWF newcomer backstage.

Young snatched Bubba's wrist, learned in and said, "Hey hot shot! If you're gonna slam me, you slam me like one of the boys!". Unsure what to say, the bemused Dudley answered with a quick, "Yes, ma'am". That led to that infamous powerbomb off the stage spot on the 13 March 2000 episode of Raw.

Ray was sh*tting himself about that one all day beforehand.

He noted that the trajectory was completely different to powerbombing somebody out of the corner inside a wrestling ring. Also, the tables next to the Raw staging were covered up, so he didn't have a clue which bit to aim for on the way down.
