10 Things We Learned From Charlotte Flair On Stone Cold’s Broken Skull Sessions Podcast

8. Footage From FCW Is Amazing

Charlotte Flair Steve Austin Broken Skull Sessions
WWE

Charlotte's appearance on 'Broken Skull Sessions' is well-worth seeing for this insert alone. Early on, Austin aired a speech that Flair gave just one short week into her WWE training back in 2012. Before watching, brace yourself to see an almost totally different human being to the 'Queen' you know today.

A nervous Charlotte addressed concerns about being Ric Flair's daughter, was generally super-humble and discussed her hopes to follow in John Cena's footsteps as a role model for young children. The whole speech is even more special because viewers then get to see Flair herself analyse every single bit of it.

She's rather self-critical.

Looking back now, Charlotte can see that she "just wanted to be liked", and that she felt like she "needed to apologise" for her upbringing. That actually didn't change until approx two years ago. Today, Flair owns who she is and knows she'll never win certain folks over anyway.

So, in other words, why try?
