6. She Hates Old Babyface Promos

Relating to Charlotte Flair is hard.

After all, her dad was Ric f*cking Flair, and she had quite a privileged childhood. Then, when time came to try on pro wrestling dreams, Charlotte landed in WWE's developmental wing without even going through a standard tryout to get there. It's no surprise that some workers struggled to accept her.

Fans were in pretty much the same boat, and Charlotte knows it. That's why she has such a tough time working babyface, because she ends up trying too hard to be liked and "it comes across as whining" when she explains that nobody knows what being Ric's kid is like.

That's a fair point.

This is also why Charlotte dislikes watching some of her old face promos. "I'm a natural heel", she explained; Austin agreed that she's way more comfortable in that role. Flair brought this up a second time when the pair re-watched clips of her match vs. Becky Lynch at Evolution.

On boos: "Why didn't I go with it, Steve?!".
