Nikki Bella got a lot of love from Charlotte during the interview, and not just because she was a landmark opponent for Flair. No, Nikki got praised because her peer thinks Bella deserves more plaudits for her own part in the "women's revolution" movement within WWE.

In fact, there's a case to be made that Nikki helped bridge the gap between the "Divas" of old and the more serious in-ring generals like Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Bayley or Sasha Banks. This isn't something that Flair spotted straight away, but a lightbulb went off in her head when she stood mid-ring and watched Bella walk to the ring.

"That's what a star looks like", she thought. Nikki's poise and presence was phenomenal, so much so that Flair started taking notes on how comfortable Bella looked in front of a live crowd. It's cool that she was willing to give props to Nikki for teaching her.

Team Bella, assemble.
