Wrestling star Chris Benoit killed his second wife, Nancy, and 7-year-old son, Daniel, before hanging himself on 24 June 2007, in his home in Atlanta, Georgia. Benoit left behind millions of adoring fans, as well as a son and daughter from his previous marriage.
On 14 January 2020, David Benoit, Chris' son from his first marriage, finally broke his silence and spoke publicly about his father and one of the most controversial events of not only the wrestling world, but the sports world as a whole.
Interviewing maestro Chris Van Vliet sat down with the 27 year old David and immediately dove into some hard hitting questions. For the first time since the 2007 double murder-suicide, David opens up about his father's final days, the reason behind Chris' violently abnormal behavior, his childhood as the son of a wrestling icon, and life after the atrocious tragedy.
David describes his personal interview with Van Vliet as a chance to finally "tell all". The young Benoit answers many previously unanswered questions about his father, as well as describing growing up and living with the unforgettable sins of his father.
