9. His Father Joining The WWE Hall Of Fame
David Benoit firmly believes his father not only deserves to be, but will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, regardless of his final actions in life.
"I would like the WWE to remember him," Benoit said. "At least for the good times. I want him in the Hall of Fame."
During the interview, Chris Van Vliet mentions how WWE have erased any and all mention of his late dad on all WWE programming and the WWE Network. Earlier in the interview, Van Vliet also states that Chris should be inducted into the Hall Of Fame just based off of his wrestling accolades alone, sentiments David completely agrees with.
When Van Vliet asked David what he would want people to remember about his father, what Chris' legacy should be, David said, "Remember him for his in-ring work, and you know, just the guy. He was so kind to everyone, man. He would hold the door for an old lady. He would do anything for WWE. He was their go-to guy."
