Harley Race was a huge influence on CM Punk's career. The interviewee took the time to reflect on his relationship with the NWA legend following his recent passing.

Punk admits that Race had a troubled last few years, and that his death ultimately came as something of a relief. However, he shared some happier stories - such as the time he shared a car with a nauseous Race. Recognising his ride-along partner was about to make a mess of his footwell, Punk went to pull-over - only for Harley to stop him, as the authorities would be alerted.

So on they went, and inevitably, the emetic journey caused Race to spill his supper all over his shoes. After the ride, Race - covered in vomit - got out and gave Punk a heartfelt hug, telling him, "Thanks for letting me throw up in your car."

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
