Punk's wife AJ Lee continued on in WWE for around a year after her husband stormed out of a meeting with Vince McMahon and Triple H in January 2014. Eventually, she'd fall out of love with the company system herself and leave in April 2015.

That 14-15 months or so was a tough time for the couple at home.

Punk was naturally angry with WWE and was embroiled in bitter legal battles against them. He tried his best to keep that resentment from trickling out in front of his wife ('cause he knew she still had her own goals and deserved her own career), but it wasn't easy. He admitted to Paquette that there were several heated arguments about WWE around that time.

He cut a frustrated figure, and AJ felt caught in the middle of it all. Punk thinks that was unfair, and said it was very much a learning process for both. It's pretty nifty to get this kind of behind-closed-doors access, especially when things worked themselves out.
