8. Punk's Motivation To Fight
Serra discusses how most fighters are not only motivated by competition but the allure of success as well, as since Punk has already achieved that in other arenas he's curious if this is just about testing himself.
He replies that there's probably something seriously wrong with him, saying that no one understands why he's doing this. He says for him it's less about the goal than it is the journey. He's already met people he considers to be lifelong friends and has learned a tremendous amount about the martial arts, so to him it's already been worth it.
He credits Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone as someone he looks up to and loves his philosophy of living a life worth living, and he doesn't every want to wake up one day and wish he'd done things differently.
