This is mind blowing too.

Eric Bischoff was certainly shocked to learn that Buff did some acting in straight to video action movies during the 1990s. Yes, yes he was under WCW contract at the time. No, no upper management didn't know a thing about these secret filming gigs. They happened during Bagwell's free time off the road.

This was almost definitely against the terms of Buff's deal with Turner, but he did them anyway. That's either genius or shows a complete disregard for the company. Either way, it doesn't exactly paint WCW in the best light at all. They really didn't have a firm grip on an increasingly-unruly roster.

A quick search reveals that Buff bagged roles in flicks like Day Of The Warrior and its sequel, as well as a role in Terror Tract between 1996-2000. In retrospect, it's a surprise WCW didn't get him to act in those awful pay-per-view mini-movies too.
