The Road Warriors were muscled-up action figures come to life, but a mixture of personal differences and rampant drug use tore the team apart.

Hawk and Animal were the topic of conversation in VICE's latest 'Dark Side Of The Ring' episode. Much like they have with other subjects in the second series, the directors zoomed in on how recreational drugs and the seedier side of the pro wrestling business can destroy anything good.

Whilst it's nowhere near as heavy as next week's season finale on Owen Hart's death will surely be, this was still a commentary on how things can go badly wrong in wrestling and leave families to pick up the pieces at home. It was also a venting tool for Animal; he made no secret of his distaste for some of Hawk's decision-making throughout.

The penultimate episode of season two regrettably skirted over a few issues that would've made it better though. Despite some of those narrative hiccups, there are some incredible stories in here - here are the best of them, and everything we learned from 'The Last Ride Of The Road Warriors'...
