10 Things We Learned From Dark Side Of The Ring: TNA (Part 3)

1. Why His AEW Run Feels “Full Circle”

Jeff Jarrett
AEW

VICE's episodes on TNA closed with a splash of positivity involving Jarrett and AEW.

Jeff noted how he'd started as a shy, nervous kid out of Hendersonville, Tennessee, but worked the bulk of his career as an easy-to-hate heel. Then, in AEW, he came “full circle” by turning into an organic babyface during the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Cup. That took Jeff slightly by surprise, but he’s glad his earnest words about Owen were received positively by the audience.

Now, he enjoys helping younger talent behind the scenes and will always show up for work and to wrestle a match whenever needed. AEW boss Tony Khan appeared on 'Dark Side' to put Jeff over as one of the most professional people he's ever worked with. He's thrilled to have Jarrett under his umbrella in All Elite.

TNA's rebirth was also given some spotlight. Not much, but some. Jeff Hardy said it was amazing to be a part of, and Bischoff said Jarrett should be proud that the promotion he started with his dad in 2002 has come back around. There's something wholesome and lovely about that thought after years and years of bitterness, strife and power struggles.

In some respects, Jarrett is just like his own creation. It's been damaged, ridiculed and more, but it's still standing.
