Page's struggles with reading leads into talk about his stint hosting the three-volume Best of WCW Nitro DVD set that WWE has released. He says that in the beginning he was paranoid because WWE wasn't as friendly toward WCW as they are now, and he was worried that they would edit the teleprompter without his consent. He credits that hosting gig as his chance to really "put himself on the button" when it came to reading for roles, adding that it was the first time he'd ever had a chance to practice on camera. He came clean with the company about his disability and said that everyone was great and worked with him to make it as easy as possible. That's all for part one, and while this was an enjoyable interview it pales in comparison to last week's awesome episode with Scott Hall, which I'll be recapping the second half on Thursday. We got some interesting insight into what makes DDP tick and a glimpse at the adversity he's had to overcome to get to where he is today. Stay tuned for part two coming up next week.
