Here's a quick 'Did You Know'.

WWE actually considered McIntyre for a match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVI. The big Scot didn't really know that at the time (nobody in 2010 told him directly that he'd be working 'Mania opposite 'The Phenom'), but Drew did know he was in line for a feud with the icon at some point.

Years later, Shawn Michaels pulled Drew aside and revealed he almost worked against 'Taker on the biggest show of the year. To be fair, even McIntyre was happy to relent that this would've been a shame; the world wouldn't have witnessed that incredible sequel between 'Taker and HBK, after all.

Drew doesn't think he could've lived up to the billing in 2010 anyway. That didn't stop him from being rather p*ssed that he was just another cog in the machine during that bloated, then-standard Money In The Bank ladder stunt show on the 'Mania undercard.

Things could have been very different.
