After Eric gave Bruce the green light to tell Vince McMahon he was interested in re-joining WWE, the boss flew Bischoff in for some "temperature check" chats. That first meeting was something Bisch described as "more social than business", but it did include one huge talking point.

Vince asked Eric what he'd do with WWE if he had a magic wand and could change anything.

Bischoff wasn't exactly up-to-speed with every aspect of WWE business, but he gave some passive suggestions and then updated McMahon on his current schedule. According to the former WCW head, he was very clear that he wanted to continue some outside projects (like his '83 Weeks' podcast with Conrad Thompson, for example).

Vince was fine with that, and the meeting ended with laughs and good vibes. A week or so later, WWE summoned Bischoff for another meeting - that's when McMahon laid out his plans for Heyman and Eric on Raw and SmackDown.
