10 Things We Learned From Goldberg On Stone Cold's Sessions Podcast

1. The Legend Of Hogan's Icy Hot

Come show time, Goldberg was understandably excited to get going, and he understood even then the significance of working with someone the stature of Hulk Hogan. When the pair locked up mid-ring to open the match, all that excitement faded and Bill couldn't see a damn thing for the remainder of the main event.

Hogan had slapped on a generous helping of icy hot, brother.

Hulk's shoulders were plastered with the stuff, and it ended up all over Goldberg's body and face when he grabbed Hogan in a side headlock too. Minty freshness burned his eyes, causing tears to stream down his cheeks. If he wasn't already sweating, it might've looked like Bill was getting "totes emosh" about his big title win.

That wasn't the case. Instead, he was trying to get that damn icy hot out of his eyes so he could focus on the task at hand. Wrestling's conspiracy theorists might feel Hulk was trying some sort of bold bid to throw Bill off his game. That, obviously, wasn't the case. He just loved him some soothing balms.
