10 Things We Learned From Goldberg On Stone Cold's Sessions Podcast

4. Goldberg's Wife Thought He Was Jeff Goldblum

In 2005, Goldberg appeared in Santa's Slay as the titular Mr. Claus. The movie, one described as a "Christmas slasher comedy film" on Wikipedia (now there's a genre) is probably one most wrestling fans have never heard of. It was a good gig for Bill however, and it's on set for Slay that he'd meet his wife Wanda Ferraton.

She was working as a stunt double on the movie, and the pair hit it off almost immediately. The thing is, that was fate, because Wanda didn't know who Bill was and actually believed she'd be working with Jeff Goldblum when producers told her the cast. It wasn't Goldblum, obviously, it was Goldberg.

Easy mistake to make. OK, maybe not.

When she did find out that Bill was coming in to work on the movie instead, Wanda described him to anyone who'd listen as one of those "fake-assed wrestlers". She'd soon change her tune upon meeting Goldberg, and they ended up getting hitched.
