It's clear from listening to Chris Jericho talk about Ellsworth that he didn't spend much time getting to know the guy. Upon settling down in front of a monitor to watch Strowman squash Ellsworth on Raw, Y2J and Seth Rollins wondered if they'd ever see him again.

If that sounds harsh, consider the length of time Jericho has been around WWE. As a locker room stalwart, he's seen a lot of guys come and go, most of them with better physiques than Ellsworth. That lack of size didn't matter to men like Bray Wyatt though. He took an instant shine to James and wanted him to feel part of the family.

Before Ellsworth put pen-to-paper on a WWE deal, he was still getting dressed in the 'Extras' locker room backstage. According to James, Wyatt would always tell him he didn't need to do that and could come hang out with everybody else.

Once Ellsworth had his contract terminated and the roster learned about it, Bray was one of the first to call his friend.
