"You had more World Title shots than me in 2016, you son of a b*tch".

Jericho changed his tune once he realised that yes, James Ellsworth had indeed fought for the WWE Title more than Y2J in 2K16. It's pretty incredible: here was a small, odd-looking jobber who defied all improbability to challenge AJ Styles for WWE's top title on television. Meanwhile, Jericho didn't come close.

In fairness, Jericho could have spent the year shopping for scarves on TV and he'd still have drawn more interest than Ellsworth. Still, it's amazing to realise that Jericho, for all the hard work it took to reinvent his character that year, played second fiddle to Ellsworth in terms of challenging for the tippy-top belts.

Ellsworth got a kick out of this and rightly remarked that Jericho had previously been on top for years before anyone even knew who he was. At this point, Y2J missed a blatant opportunity to threaten putting his guest on the list. Again.
