10 Things We Learned From Jeff Hardy On Stone Cold’s Broken Skull Podcast

4. TNA Gets A Lot Of Love

Despite the excruciating embarrassment of Victory Road, Jeff says he really enjoyed both stints he had with TNA. He also seems grateful that the promotion took him in after he'd f*cked up some big time runs in WWE. That was some perspective and gratitude that Austin could get on board with.

Specifically, Hardy loved a match with Austin Aries (at Bound For Glory 2012) that "drew a big crowd"; in reality, the pay-per-view pulled in around 2,900 folks, which isn't huge. It was a bigger gate for TNA than usual though, and it's cool to hear him put the company over.

Jeff didn't stop there with the gushing praise.

According to him, there was never actually that much difference between TNA and WWE. If anything, it was only the latter's sheer size and scale that stood out to Hardy. Going to work for Dixie Carter was largely the same as working for Vince McMahon. Again, that admission came out of left field.
