10 Things We Learned From Jon Moxley On Talk Is Jericho

7. Writing About Brodie Lee Was “Cathartic”

Of course, writing about the deaths of close personal friends like Brodie Lee and ex-CZW alumni Danny Havoc was tough for Jon. He admits he wrote those particular chapters in a "state of shock", but they did bring some closure for him. That, in retrospect, was a cathartic experience.

Moxley was keen to stress that the publishing company (more on them later) were banned from touching those parts of the book. Obviously, the had to be grammatically correct with proper punctuation, but he didn't want anybody to f*ck around with his wording when he was talking about things so personal.

The publishers agreed not to tamper with the content.

It's not hard to picture Moxley pouring his heart out onto the page during some late-night writing sessions. Typing his true thoughts about Lee and Havoc cannot have been easy, especially when he knew that this wasn't some private journal nobody else would ever see.
