You're reading that right. Bryan Danielson, who was still working in WWE as Daniel Bryan at the time, told Mox that he wouldn't have agreed to a book deal with the promotion if he had that decision over again. His 'Yes' story wasn't exactly what he wanted to be, and that was a red flag for Jon.

Instinctively, he knew that he was going to tell WWE no, but he wanted advice from a friend who'd done the book thing first. Bryan was nothing but honest with his mate, and that confirmed to Moxley that he couldn't let somebody else handle his life story. It was too precious and important for that.

Mox also told Jericho that he actually liked Danielson's book when he finally read it. Even so, he'd made his mind up and wasn't going to change it. WWE were disappointed that 'Dean Ambrose: Unhinged' (or whatever it was gonna be called) wouldn't be hitting shelves.

Their ghost writer idea made it impossible.
