6. WWE Wanted Him To Use A Pooper Scooper

Wouldn't you just know it, things could've been much worse.

Around the same time he was receiving shots in the butt cheek, Moxley was tasked with getting something else over: a humble pooper scooper. This, according to his comments on the pod, was WWE's way of furthering a 'germaphobe' character obsessed with cleaning off the stench of Shield memories.

Dig a little deeper beyond the comedic and the original clean-freak idea actually had some merit. It's presumably why the Dean Ambrose character was tweaked to incorporate super villain-like aesthetics (including a snazzy flight jacket and gas mask combo), and it's why he spoke at length about how much had to change on Raw.

Still, his new gimmick would've died a slow, painful death had he gone literal janitor and carried around a bloody poop scoop like he was a mid-90s cartoon character. The gist of it was that McMahon wanted Ambrose to make jokes about the pooper scooper and say he wouldn't go anywhere without it from then on.
