10. Isaac Yankem Was An Old Bobby Heenan Joke

Bobby Heenan was long gone from the WWF by the time Glenn Jacobs debuted as Isaac Yankem D.D.S, but his legacy lived on through the gimmick. According to Kane, his evil dentist character was created because someone in creative (maybe Bruce Prichard, who has spoken about this very subject on his own podcast) remembered Bobby's jokes.

"I've got an appointment to see my dentist. I. Yankem."

That was the gist of Brain's wisecrack, and it stuck with several within the company. They couldn't resist making a real-life character out of it in some untimely tribute to Heenan, and Jacobs was the "lucky" dude who bagged the role. The big guy thought it was Vince McMahon's way of testing him, so he kept his mouth shut.

Thank God the company didn't saddle wrestlers with other Heenan jokes like 'Arriba McEntyre'. Only kidding, that would've been amazing.
