4. His Pyro Was The Undertaker's Idea

It was always a powerful visual whenever Kane would raise his arms mid-ring, drop them suddenly and cause jets of fire to burst from each of the four ring posts. No kid grew up in the late-90s without motioning along with the TV and wishing they had the power to perform such theatrics at least once.

That genius entrance routine wasn't Kane's idea. It was The Undertaker's.

He pitched the fiery stunt as a counterpoint to his own entrance. Whenever he'd emerge, 'Taker would stand on the ring steps, raise his arms and create light. His belief was that Kane should be raising hell by comparison by dropping his arms; it was supposed to be the complete opposite to everything The Undertaker stood for.

Kane loved the idea immediately, and so did everyone else behind the scenes. It made sense, gave Kane another identifiable gimmick to help him stand out and tarted up the notion that 'Taker represented light despite his own ominous appearance.
