24 hours before working their 'Inferno Match' at Unforgiven 1998, Kane and The Undertaker were talking over what they'd do at rehearsals that night. They were on their way to a WWF house show in Fayetteville first, but were horrified to learn that the limo driver had been cruising for two hours in the wrong direction.

They were late by the time they reached the building for the show, and Kane ended up working 30 seconds with Vader before rushing back to the car. By that point, it was way too late for any rehearsal, and they ended up cancelling plans for a run through before the pay-per-view. They'd have to do it without any practice.

Stunt coordinators couldn't believe their ears the next day.

The only rehearsal Kane got for the fiery match was when stuntmen set fire to his arm and tested how that'd work later. It was all a blur, and the guys ended up going in blind to a seriously dangerous situation. That wouldn't have happened had the limo not gone the wrong way.
