3. Omega Was Angry At New Japan Hours Before Wrestle Kingdom

Just hours before he was set to go over his match with Chris Jericho, the actual wrestling portion of the show itself was the furthest thing from Kenny Omega's mind. Backstage, Omega was trying in vain to tweak his entrance routine and make it the biggest and best on the show. He'd be beaten by Marty Scurll's robot wings.

Perhaps that wouldn't have been the case, had New Japan not decided to wait until the eleventh hour to tell Omega his elaborate entrance had been cancelled. Kenny wanted new music for the show and a big video production to go with it, but New Japan didn't feel like they had the time to accommodate him.

This angered Omega, and he was still bitter about it when recording the interview for Talk Is Jericho. Chipping in with his own opinion, Jericho said nothing like that would happen in WWE. In Y2J's mind, Omega's annoyance just goes to show the differences in priorities between both companies.
