Kev kicked the arse out to it on a late-1994 European tour. One night, he ended up drinking every beer available on the bus because the fridge was on the blink. The next day, he had "a stinker of a match", but was still shocked when road agent Tony Garea pulled him up backstage and said he needed to go to Vince's house when the WWF returned to the States.

That was a red flag for 'Big D'.

Nash thought for sure that McMahon was going to fire him - "I f*cked up so bad he wants to fire me in person", he told Steve. Instead, Vince welcomed Kevin in and told him he was going to win the belt. Nash pointed out that he'd just been Intercontinental Champ, but McMahon meant the belt.

He waited and waited on the boss to laugh before serving him some termination papers. That didn't happen, and Diesel ended up winning the WWF Title from Backlund on an iconic MSG house show. Hilariously, Nash had also fallen asleep on Vince's couch because it took so long for the meeting to start.
