5. Angle Lied To WWE About The Cowboy Hat

Kurt brought out an old friend around 51 minutes into the interview with Austin.

'Stone Cold' could scarcely believe his eyes when Angle reached into his bag and pulled out that toy cowboy hat he famously wore back on SmackDown in 2001. "Is that the same one?", Austin asked. "It's the exact same one", Kurt replied. What a moment for the ages, people.

It gets better too. Angle revealed that WWE chiefs asked to get the hat following those timeless skits 19 years ago. Disappointed that they wanted to put the hat into storage for a rainy day, Kurt decided to lie to their faces and say that somebody must have stolen it backstage. He certainly couldn't find it. Ahem.

The truth is that Angle just fancied taking the thing home as a mini-memento. He's kept it all these years, and couldn't wait to show Austin some seemingly-lost treasures from the good old days. This was a definite highlight of the episode.
