Lita enjoyed some incredible firsts during her core WWE run. She worked the first ever women's steel cage match (vs. Victoria on the 24 November 2003 Raw) and the first Raw main event between two female workers (vs. Trish Stratus on 6 December 2004). Both of those huge moments make her proud now.

Back then? Meh, she didn't really think about it.

The pioneer told Austin that she didn't view either match as a groundbreaking moment for women's wrestling at the time. They are though, and she realises that now. At this point during the interview, Lita shared some sage advice for any aspiring female wrestlers watching: "Make the most of little opportunities that fall in your lap".

She's warned today's locker room against relying on "WrestleMania moments". Those are nice, she says, but they're not the only way you can build a legacy. The nicest thing about Lita's is that she really didn't know she was building anything until people started talking about it.
