10 Things We Learned From Miro/Rusev On Talk Is Jericho

10. When He Knew His Time Was Up In WWE

Miro can pinpoint the exact moment he knew his WWE run was cooked. During a tag-team match on the 17 February 2020 Raw (Rusev and Humberto Carrillo vs. Bobby Lashley and Angel Garza), he was booked to go over Garza clean. That got changed to a roll-up loss hours before the show went live.

Post-match, he was p*ssed.

The revised script called for Angel to pin Rusev and then split, but WWE had other plans - Garza stayed inside the ring and the referee raised his hand. There's a cracking photo above that shows Miro staring at that on the tron. He was angry that nobody had told him what'd be happening, so he charged Garza and tossed him out before forcing the ref to raise his hand instead.

Backstage, Vince McMahon told him that the writers were "trying to bury you out there". That confused Miro, because Vince runs the company. If he didn't want something to happen, then it wasn't going to happen. McMahon also said he liked Rusev's aggression and wanted to see more of it.
