Paul Wight is "#AllElite", but he's also all ears.

The one-time Big Show shocked the entire wrestling world by jumping from AEW several weeks ago, and he bloody knows it. Now, Wight wants to follow up on that bombshell moment by helping his new employer grow into something bigger and by listening to fan feedback along the way. His passion for the company (and the biz at large) came across loud and clear during the latest 'Oral Sessions' with Renée Paquette.

Together, the real-life friends talked about everything from WWE regrets, Vince McMahon quirks, AEW stars he'd like to work with, who he misses the most from WWE, who might pen his next entrance theme and more. Throughout, Renée's chirpy energy motivated Paul to go deep on some really fun stories.

He even found time to reminisce about the old WCW days by way of a slightly-scary tale. There was also a hidden gem-come-teaser for those paying attention - movie buffs might like what AEW have planned. No, they're not putting Wight in a Knucklehead sequel, don't worry.

Here's everything we learned from another engaging chat with Renée and her big guest...

10. He Believes He Had More To Offer WWE

Big Show got sick of "sitting on the bench" in WWE.

Wight opened the interview by telling Renée that he was tired of "knocking on the door". He had a feeling he'd been largely forgotten by company top brass - whilst he understands why they wanted to focus on fresh talent, Paul also believes he had way more to offer Vince McMahon's organisation.

McMahon viewed Wight as an ambassador who could fill in for someone when they were injured, but that was about it. Paul, knowing he was nearing the end of his active career, wanted to work as much as he possibly could before age made that impossible. It was quite the dilemma, and that led to the AEW jump.

Wight thinks WWE viewed any bookings as a "favour" rather than necessary, and he didn't really like the thought of that. Renée herself seemed surprised that the promotion had only used Paul a handful of times over the past few years.

Side note: Wight refused to bury his old stomping grounds throughout the chat, but he was candid and honest about his frustrations.
